Your No.1
Solution for Safer, Slip-Resistant Surfaces

We use a formulation known as IntellaTread®, to treat surfaces that are slippery when wet. The formulation has a chemical reaction with the surface pores, significantly increasing surface friction and reducing the risk of slip and fall accidents.

The treatment is safely and easily applied by our qualified operators to various porous floors such as ceramic tile, quarry tile, terrazzo, concrete, brick, limestone, granite, slate, and pool decking. Additionally, it can be applied to porcelain and enamel bathtubs and showers.

The chemical reaction creates thousands of microscopic crevices, forming a tread pattern that creates a suction cup effect when the treated surface is wet.

Tiles that are in the process of the anti-slip treatment

Surfaces

Ceramic tile, quarry tile, terrazzo, concrete, brick, limestone, granite, slate and pool decking.

Porcelain and enamel bathtubs and showers.

Marble and vinyl tile, but this must be specifically tested first.

Swimming pool with tiles surrounding it that have been treated with the anti-slip treatment

Application Areas

Bathrooms, showers, toilets, and swimming pool change rooms.

Outdoor steps, patios, swimming pools, and spas.

Kitchens, lunch rooms, canteens, food/ drink service areas and wet bars.

Access ramps, entry foyers, pathways, and drive ways.

Surface and Application Areas

Resistile’s anti-slip solution is suitable for application on a wide range of porous floors and surfaces.

How Our Solution Works

The anti-slip formulation is a unique compound designed to react with silica sand in any mineral surfaces such as Ceramic Tile, Porcelain, Quarry Tile, Slate, Terrazzo, Granite, Cement and other Stone surfaces that become slippery when wet.

01

Application

Resistile first applies the IntellaTread® treatment safely and simply onto the porous floor or surface, which causes a chemical reaction to take place.

02

Microscopic Crevice Formation

This chemical reaction creates thousands of microscopic crevices, forming a tread pattern that mimics a suction cup effect when the treated surface is wet. This significantly improves the surface's anti-slip properties.

03

Slip-Resistant Surface

Once the floor or surface has been treated with the anti slip solution, surfaces automatically are skid and slip-resistant when they are wet and can be used immediately.

04

Longevity Up To 5 Years

Technically the IntellaTread® anti-slip treatment should last the full life span of the tile or surface. However, domestic surfaces are warranted for 5 years and commercial surfaces are warranted for 2 years.

Additionally, IntellaTread® is the only product of its kind, surpassing all safety standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
